Refund Policy
Effective 6 November 2026
If Xakto isn't right for you, you get your money back in full within 14 days, no questions asked.
What you can get back

You don't need to give a reason. A refund goes back to the way you paid, including any tax charged. Your bank may take a few days to show it.
How to ask
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles returns. To ask for a refund:
- use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or
- go to paddle.net and look up your order, or
- write to us at [email protected], and we'll arrange it with Paddle.
What happens after a refund
Your paid plan ends straight away and Xakto returns to the free plan. Everything you made stays on your computer: edits, annotations, findings and exports aren't touched. You can buy again at any time.
Your legal rights
This policy adds to your legal rights; it doesn't replace them. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. Our 14-day refund gives everyone the same window, wherever they live, with no reason needed. If something you paid for doesn't work as described, your consumer rights may entitle you to more than this policy gives.
